Every summer, women from all over New England depart on a mountain journey to help other women and families in need. Whether you are an experienced outdoorswoman or have only dreamed of waking to a mountain sunrise—you can be one of them!
Register for the 15th annual Wilderness Heals pledge hike (benefiting the women and families of the Elizabeth Stone House) after 3/1/10.

The fundraising minimum for Wilderness Heals hikers is $1,200.While this may sound daunting at first, most hikers find that once they start sharing telling people about the Stone House and their reasons for hiking, they can easily surpass the fundraising minimum. Fundraising tips and ideas will be supplied to you throughout the spring.
ALL HIKERS ARE REQUIRED to attend at least one Wilderness Heals training hike. Training hikes are held in the White Mountains of NH during the months of May and June (primarily on the weekends) and are led by an experienced Team Leader. A complete training hike schedule will be sent to you after you register. In 2010, hikers who choose the Front Country option are also required to attend a training hike.
