Wilderness Heals

53 women participated in this year's Wilderness Heals Pledge Hike to benefit the Elizabeth Stone House in New Hampshire's White Mountains. Together, hikers raised over $120,000 in support of the work of the Stone House!
GentleMen's BBQ

Elizabeth Stone's Network of GentleMen hosted the 3rd annual GentleMen's BBQ for the women and children of the Stone House! Residents, staff and community members enjoyed an evening of great food and company! A special thanks to the 2010 New Sector Alliance Summer Fellows Program for hosting activities and games for the kids!
Fenway and the Red Sox

Elizabeth Stone House kids enjoyed a day at Fenway Park, generously donated by Rich Piltch and Bonnie Silva of ARS (Always Ready to Serve Restoration Specialists.) The trip was complete with a Red Sox game, a tour of Fenway Park, souvenirs and of course, a Fenway Frank!
Apple Picking

On September 12th over 30 residents and children went to Shelbourne Farm in Stow, MA to go apple picking! This is the second year that Shelbourne Farm has provided this opportunity for the Elizabeth Stone House. Although the day was rainy, all of the residents had a great time picking apples, eating cider donuts, and viewing the farm animals.
Trip to Logan in partnership with United Airlines
United Airlines invited the women and children of ESH to join them at the airport! Everyone was very excited to see the airport behind the scenes. The trip included time on a plane, snacks, a special trip to the airport fire station, and a chance to talk to police officers, pilots, and firemen and women about their jobs!
Thanksgiving
Board members, staff, residents, volunteers, and members of the Network of Gentlemen gathered for a Thanksgiving feast on Monday, November 24th, 2008.
Halloween
Over 40 goblins, superheroes and princesses piled into a bus and commuted to the office of Mintz Levin for a Halloween party to remember. The children spent time face painting, having a dance party, taking photos, and watching a spooky movie. The night was complete with trick-or-treating from office to office and a delicious feast provided by the firm.
