Elizabeth Stone House thanks Verizon for a grant of $10,000 that will underwrite the cost of providing wrap-around support services to victims of domestic violence living in the Stone House emergency shelter and transitional housing program, as well as in the surrounding communities. Read more on

The Elizabeth Stone House has been asked to be one of 30 Founding Class members of the Boston Chapter of Catchafire, a New York City-based, for-profit social mission business.
Catchafire’s states their mission is to improve the quality of the volunteer experience by providing pro bono opportunities for skilled professionals. Catchafire allows professionals to use their skills for good, and gives nonprofit and social enterprises access to effectively use this pro bono work to build capacity within their organization.
The Elizabeth Stone House is excited to work on several to-be-determined projects with Catchafire in this upcoming partnership.
