Parent Child Center
Family and children’s programming at the Elizabeth Stone House is sponsored by our Parent-Child Center (PCC). Many of our family-oriented activities and programs take place in the PCC itself, which was built with the support of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., a major Boston law firm that has served as the Stone House’s primary corporate partner for over a decade. Founded in 1997, the PCC consolidated all children’s and family programming that had been created since Stone House first opened almost 25 years earlier. The PCC includes an infant room, a toddler room, common space for group activities, and a kitchen, as well as an office for the director of children's programming.
Thanks to the
Marigold Charitable Trust, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of children affected by trauma, the PCC offers a weekly therapeutic arts program as well other individual supports for our Stone House children.
